You have reached the home of Cafe Red, a Hot and Sweet Thai Chili Sauce.

Cafe Red was first served at the Mendocino Cafe as an accompaniment to the Thai Burrito. Cafe Red displays its virtuosity as a BBQ, Dipping, or Stirfry Sauce.

If you like spicy food or just like to add a kick to whatever you're eating, try Cafe Red. I think you won't be disappointed.

A Favorite Recipe using Cafe Red

Ka Pao Stirfry with Shrimp (or whatever protein you desire):

1/2 lb. Prawns, shelled and deveined
2 cups mixed vegies, cut on diagonal for stirfry
1/2 cup Shiitake mushrooms. sliced, fresh or dried (soak dried in warm water)
1/2 cup peanuts, chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. oil
1/4 cup Cafe Red Chili Sauce

Saute shrimp and vegies in oil until shrimp turns opaque and vegies are just tender enough to bite into. Add Cafe Red Chili Sauce and 1/4 cup water. Stir and cook until heated through. Add soy sauce and chppped peanuts. Serve on steamed rice and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
